The Bell Legacy

Our Living History

Greatness

Alexander The Great conquered nations, while Alexander Graham Bell connected nations through telecommunications. A.G. Bell, the inventor of the telephone, inspired the name of the American Bell Telephone Company that dominated telecommunications for over 100 years.

Legendary

The Bell Legend precedes itself as if wisdom and vision passed down from God on a mountaintop. The royal insignia of the purple cast, encompassing both hemispheres, touching all four corners of the globe, Zijin Shan or Purple Mountain, was originally known as Bell Mountain. The name Zijin means copper, which appears purple when pure; therefore, in Chinese, it is also called Purple-Gold Mountain. The peaks of the historic mountain are often found enveloped in purple and golden clouds at dawn and dusk. Bell Mountains span across America, including those which are protected areas designated by the United States Congress.

Iconic Presence

American ingenuity, innovation, and quality have always been the bedrock of our nation's success. Bells have pioneered across America developing cities, real estate, and new economies. The signature touch comes with luxury and genuine hospitality that meets you every step of the way. From 1950 to 1952, only the two-door hardtops in the Chevrolet, also known by its affectionate nickname Chevy, model range were designated with the Bel Air name initially. With the 1953 model year, the Bel Air name was changed from a designation for a unique body shape to a premium level of trim applied across a number of body styles. The 1955 Bel Air was called the "Hot One" in General Motor's advertising campaign. The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air's image has been frequently used in toys, graphics, music, movies, and television; the '57 Chevy, as it is often known, is an auto icon. The Bell Influence spans from the Chevrolet Bel Air to the Liberty Bell, an iconic symbol of American Independence.

Overcometh

The American Founding Fathers overcame tyranny for their independence. Since, the Liberty Bell has appeared on several U.S. postage stamps, including the first forever stamp, because the symbol was most representative of the nation's independence. The Bell's composition has been used to produce and transmit sounds, as it's imagery has been used in global campaigns and appears on American currency. The Liberty reference to Leviticus reflects the contemporaneous practice of assigning unique qualities to bells that reflected their particular composition and casting.

As people can prefer different types of vacations, kitsch can correspond to different forms of memory. Memories can be fragile, overbearing, or persistently unique; thus, giving rise to different layers of intensities and experiences. Reliving these memories can be nostalgic or melancholic, with the value and purpose being in the eye of the beholder. If perceived as a White Elephant, one or many may be willing to destroy everything without knowing what they actually destroyed, or its utopian possibilities.
